Playing Career Played for Paviors RFC for over 25 yrs. of which 14 were in the 1st XV
Representative NLD, Notts. RFU
Post Playing Committee member of Paviors RFC for over 30 yrs. Currently treasurer.
Past President & Chairman. Lead Coach 1st XV for 3 years, & coached the colts for a further 3 years. In addition helped with coaching with my son’s age group for 5 yrs.
Currently I also referee junior rugby on a Sunday morning.
Why a Trustee? It was a chance to put something back into the rugby community where I feel I have a vast knowledge of the game not only from a playing perspective but also from a non playing angle.
Rugby Philosophy Whilst playing, it was to play tough uncompromising & hopefully successful rugby. Since retiring from playing it was to pass on as much experience as I could to those still developing their skill set.
